Domain Name

The domain name of your website will be www.yoursitename.com etc. This is bought from a hosting company. Once you have decided on what you want to call your website, you will need to find out whether the name is available and buy it (once you sign up with us, we can do this for you). You can sometimes get the name free when you buy webspace.

Web Space (Hosting)

So now you have the name, you need space to put it on. To understand what web space is, imagine you want to build a house (your website) and you’ve found a construction company (Jas Images) who can also design your house. You’ve found the address or the exact location to build it (the website address or domain name), now all you need is the land (the webspace). Once you’ve decided what type of site you want, we can advise on the type of space you’ll need and how much.

Hosting Company

The company we use at present to buy domain names and webspace is www.hostinghelper,com. They’re a great company with reasonable prices. If you want a site and don’t have a domain name and space, we will buy them for you. If you already have the domain name and just need space, you can buy space from hosting helper and transfer the domain name to this company If you already have a domain name and space with another company, that’s fine too, just send us the login details. If you find Hosting Helper gives you a better deal than your current provider, simply request a Transfer Of Internet Services Form to fill in giving us permission to move you and we’ll do the rest.

Designing Your Site

You will be working closely with our web design experts on how you want your site to look, if you have sites you want it to look like or ideas on colours, fonts, layout etc, get it all together in an email ready to send to us. We will then design the site, send it to you for your approval then make adjustments to it until you are happy with it, Then once the design is approved we start to build the design onto the actual site.
